original it is in sync 3 version 3.0 revision 20204
I wanted to upgrade it to 3.4 2.11.4.0
I changed the country codes thanks to forscan
I created a usb key (removed europe maps to lighten the download)
it started, but it got stuck for 2 hours on downloading the maps my engine cut out
now I have this red screen with the message error installing maps package
can you help me ?

Your screenshots are showing a mess of files, you have a interrogator autoinstall not a reformat autoinstall

I made a mistake somewhere but I don’t know where the error is.
You can not fit EU maps on NA you need cut down maps
Edit: honestly I have no idea what you’ve done or what your trying to do.
I tried to upgrade my sync3 3.0 rev 20204 with US navigation
in 3.4 navigation EU
I created a USB formatting key with all the EU cards (nonsense)
formatting started, but stopped due to lack of space.
I deleted maps on the key but I have an error on the car screen “error installing maps package”
when I turn on the screen I have this image
how should i install the whole thing?
Specify the correct version in the app configuration, select the correct package, write the USB.
if you don’t specify the correct version it won’t make a REFORMAT usb and then you will be stuck again!

Reading the material here before you do this would help also. I see that was left blank on the original post so if I had to guess this step was skipped. That also explains why there are so many questions.

in fact I put the map license as a map, that’s what made my error
everything is back to normal, I discovered 3.4 (there is not much visual improvement)
on the other hand my bluetooth with my phone works really better (there is no longer this reasoning)
