As the title really, the guide really needs updating to protect peoples blood pressure who use additional USB devices in the car.
upgrade USB in, iginition on.
All is well, Sync restarts, red warning screen “Error update package not found”
I pull the USB, it then stays locked in “upgrade” mode with the timer counting up.
Nothing works to reset it, power off, doors open close, lock car - utter terror and panic it’s borked!
Then I remember about the audio USB in the centre console!!
upgrade USB back in, audio USB out, upgrade proceeds and I can cancel the ambulance!
PLEASE - UPDATE THE GUIDE to tell people to remember to remove ALL other USB devices first. It seems I’m not the only one who suffers this speedbump on upgrade
