Error when inserting usb for update 21020

Hi it’s a Kingston brand so it is a known brand pal . I will endeavour to try again tomorrow an hopefully it will be ok . Thanks for your reply tho I appreciate it .

Are you sure it’s a kingston and not a counterfeit?
Does Windows detect it as kingston?.
From the log you sent before, this is shown:

But don’t worry, whatever is that’s going on, the unit is 99% recoverable.

Hello everbody!

And first of all a BIG Thx for the very nice UpdaterTool!!

I have a similar Problem and a question. My current Version is 3.4.20351 F9 and i would like to update to 3.4.21020 F10. the installmode (Autodetect) is: Downgrade

Why is it a Downgrade? Is that correct?

regards,

Uwe

Hello Uwe

try another usb stick , yes it is correct a downgrade .

the reason why is described in the forum and Explanation how to upgrade.

A warning don’t use it on a new model Ford with MY20

regards Richard

where can i find this explanation? you have a link maybe?

thx

Wife had left her usb in the one under arm rest . Once I took that out everything worked as it should from the off . So yeah it was user error. Thanks pal

We live an learn . I’ve always used cyan labs for my updates etc so I knew I was doing it correctly.
