Hi trying to update to latest sync 21020 with f10 maps but when I put in usb I get pkg err04 have I done something wrong?

Yes, configure the application to the correct current sync version and don’t force the install mode,

Hi thanks for replying I’m a total novice with these how do I post the log an where would I find it

If you followed any instructions you would already know the answer to this and wouldn’t be having any issues.

the log.txt file can be found on the USB drive or when you were asked “do you want to upload log” if you said yes you would have been provided a link

All I want to do is it to go back to where it was before I started doing an I will leave till I find some one a bit more tech savvy

You can’t!, as clearly mentioned in the guide/documentation.

At this point you must complete the process, still waiting on that log file before we can assist.

We have already told you what to do, literally set it as per my settings highlighted in red.

I have done as you have said pal and it’s STILL not working still says error update package not found and if I pull usb out after 10/20/mins it goes to the update screen ( mustang etc) but stays on starting update .

If like you said you did everything like described before, try this:

A) Breathe and lower your intensity

B) Make sure no other USB device (or SD card) is connected to any other port in the car, only the USB created by Syn3Updater should be connected.

C) Create and use a different USB, preferably a known brand one (the log says it’s generic, no brand)
