Cannot download F13 Maps onto a 128Gb USB stick. After a short time red box appears showing “ERROR - There is not enough space on the disc”. Additionally, the files don’t appear to be downloading showing the message (Skipping Download).

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
See above
Update Method: CyanLabs Syn3 Updater
Syn3 Updater Version: I assume latest from Cyanlabs website
You don’t download files directly to the USB you download them to your download location specified in the Syn3 Updater settings, therefore you don’t have enough space on your internal hard drive where that path is located.
I’m following the instructions shown in the instructional video and on the “Updater” page. I can download F11 maps from this page onto the USB stick but not F13.
Files are not directly downloaded to the USB, they are first downloaded to whatever directory you configured. Once they are all downloaded, then they are copied to the USB. You seeing “skipping download” tells me the files are already downloaded on your hard drive, and if it fails while creating the USB, then the USB might be the issue.
Which brand is it? Have you tried a different one?
Can you provide q screenshot of:
your disks letters and usage (my PC)
a screenshot of the error.
a screenshot of Syn3Updater’s configuration section
a screenshot of Syn3Updater’s packages to be downloaded.
Ah, I think I know what you are saying here. I’ve cleared the download folder on my PC and reinstalled the installation file. It seems to be downloading to the USB OK now.
I hope I haven’t spoken too soon but thanks for the help.
As long as the C drive has enough space, it won’t fail… As the first reply you got, the issue was while downloading the file onto your local hard drive, not the USB… So try making enough space because if you can’t download anything else on the C drive it’s really full, and that’s the Windows’ drive, so it’s not good for it to be full…
