Hello dear focus lovers.
Long story short, i have an mk3.5 base model with no sync integrated, i did buy a cheap one after market and the technician that mounted and mapped the pins between my car and the new sync module installed it.
it works but the volume commands don’t work on the steering wheel, he told me i should buy the buttons where they are voice command. so i thought i will have that next time.
the issue i found is the mic is not working, i can do calls, car play or what so ever, the guy that mounted that don’t answer my calls so i am lost.
i know there is a cable that you can get and wire it up from the old to sync 3, i am thinking if the buttons are related to this issue or the mic is really a missed up pin or wiring.
