Hello. I bought Edge 2016 with sync 3 from USA but non-navi. I connected Sync 3 64GB from Kuga 2022. I have problem with navigation, just i turn left or right but navigation showing like i am going straight. Original antena stays from previous sync with compass. After few seconds back to correct position and again problem with localization.
I didn’t check with original Sync version from Kuga, just connect and put USB with updade.
2nd question, can i use sync updater with auto-detect to downgrade sync from 3.4.22251 to 3.4.21265? and later update maps from f10 to f11? i am worry because its MY20+
Yes, make sure to use the “autoinstall” option only.
Note: The maps upgrade from F10 to F11 will take about 90 minutes using autoinstall.
As far as the navigation, I’ll assume you already have F10 maps in EU and you probably do not have a GPS lock.
There may be a red circle with a bar thru it on the nav screen?
Also, did you transfer the asbuilt vehicle values from 7D0-07-xx to the new APIM?
Maps update done. With autoinstall can’t do, not enough space - free ~12gb, maps f11 ~22gb on usb. But I used maps removed from fmods and later transfer f11 maps to sync 3. Everything work, but problem with gps still exist. I can found all satelites, I have correct position on Navi screen, but problem starting when I try drive straight or turning left or right.
I didn’t transfer Apim configuration, because Ori Apim already “bricked”. Unfortunately when I tried update to MY18 something goes wrong. Old Apim was non Navi. I keep old antena for Sirius/GPS.
Yes, forscan. Now I know what’s wrong. I don’t have this car right now, it’s my friend car. I am from Poland so the code is 504C. If my friend comes to my I will reply Kuga as built
