Hi all. I’m from Ukraine and hope, you can help me. Having tried to update my Ford Edge 2019 USA Sync 3 to European with Russian and maps with Ukraine, I was faced with trouble. I excluded all maps, besides Eastern Europe made USB-flash and updated my car. There were no mistakes. However, after successfully updating, I noticed absenting of navigation normal working. Now I see this only and don’t have any ideas what I have to do to fix it. Please, help me to detect what’s wrong.

Thank you so much for your answer. I made a new USB flash according to your recommendation but having try update my car I got the MEM_ERR01 message. What do I have to do now to successfully update? Help me, please.
How are you trying to achieve that?, you only have about 200M free, so that does not leave a lot of room to operate.
If you created the USB with Syn3updater, post the log.
Delete Gracenotes, you don’t have enough space.

At least 1.5 GB or better. Although I have seen it work with about 1.3 GB

Since the tool itself is quite small, I was under the impression that a lot of space was not required to get the process started.

Let me clarify my statement: The reformat tool takes very little resources to be able to run. In itself, you could run it with 200MB as it is less than a 10MB file. But therein lies the issue, it’s not just the reformat tool, but the processing of the replacement files, like the app, etc., that need the initial space to extract and be processed. The difference here is that you need to downgrade to 3.3.19052 to run the reformat tool, therefore this takes the same amount of space as an upgrade by autoinstall. Getting that memory free will require deleting or replacing other files, like deleting GN and replacing the large EU voice file with the smaller NA or CN voice files.
