Hey, so I have a GCC/Middle Eastern spec car and I upgraded to sync 3.4 build 19200 and grace notes are missing may you help me.
You might have some luck going here and looking for the file or ask on FFClub.ru on that thread.

Can you provide what settings you used in FordSyncDownloader, i will check the package contents
My settings were “any other sync version” and the region was “ROW”
I chose “ROW” as my region and “sync 3.4 build 19200” no maps

Due to issues with some people row doesn’t have Gracenotes , install it manually by creating a autoinstall.lst
i would aprecite it you give me the file for the gracenotes for the ROW region because it turns out that the above was for an older version of sync and also what exact files do I need in my usb to do the installation do I need the reformat.lst file or no ?

I do not know, I suspect -BA but I am not sure.
Maybe someone on here can verify which file is ROW?

If you decide to install Gracenotes…
First, ensure that Gracenotes is not installed by looking at the IVSU screen in the unit.
Next, download the appropriate file you need for your region.
Run this like an update with an autoinstall.lst file:
Create usb with SyncMyRide folder (format as EXFAT).
Copy Gracenotes file in the SyncMyRide folder.
Root is autoinstall.lst and DONTINDX.MSA files.
You will need to edit the Autoinstall.lst file so it looks like this:
(The file name below is used as an example. Replace with filename of the file you need to install.)

Open1 = SyncMyRide\4U5T-14G423-BA_123695.tar.gz
Options = Autoinstall
Place in USB slot in vehicle and wait for the installation to complete. Reboot Sync. check IVSU page for confirmation.
ive tried it no luck i let the car run for 40 min with the usb and still stuck on updating system software turned off the car and removed the usb
You probably aren’t able to fit Gracenotes on your APIM, some APIMs have less storage, this is why i don’t include gracenotes by default for ROW
Hmm weird I used to have gracenotes on sync 3.0
Let’s find out if you have enough space for the install. I suspect the above is correct, since the ROW maps are larger in this version.

43Kb Interrogator_Log/utloggingutility. This will allow you to see what is on the APIM and the storage space and file structure. It will create an xml file you open in a browser.
Run this like an update with an autoinstall.lst file:

Insert usb in vehicle and run this. It will produce an xml file on the usb stick in the SyncMyRide folder. Open the xml and go to the bottom of the file to see your storage. The asbuilt info is also in the file near the top.
Apps partitions is .5gb bigger post 3.0 that’s why the reformat is needed.
