Hi, went to update after fords website let me have f10 maps but it didnt work. so i came onto your updater, used the same firmware ( 21020) and f10 maps, dowloaded onto a 32gb usb ( exfatt) and put it in, the Sync updated First then went to the the screen with the car on (updating) nothing happend in a hour and car shut down, no movement on the bar,
I switched the car back on and this came up

after taking off the - off the batt waiting 4 mins and trying again i now get this screen
will put it in next down as the limit for new users )
currently cant re download from cyanlabs as it fails and goes to a error screen but i have found the files and putting them onto a diffrent usb drive, (is there a way i can cancel this or can i only go foward?, Im not sure what else to do,

If you are using a portable hard drive, don’t.

Use a USB, select it in the app, and copy the files with the app to the usb.

ok ive just went out an bought a new 64gb memory stick.
im going to try and copy the orginal files to that if that dosent work in the background im doing another re download onto the usb, same verson as i had before the update 21020 ( same as m dowmloading) f10 maps i used to have f9 is that bought right?

ok so i did that and put the usb in and i now have sync 3, No maps are on it though? heres the log of what i downloaded to the usb, im going to try to just download the maps (f10) to the usb now see if that kicks it in

If you aren’t MY20, do a full downgrade with maps.

Change the installmode to Downgrade in settings
Select your Release and Maps Release, create the USB and wait.

You may have experienced some issues due to the server outage around that time

currently i have a usb with maps only in, not sure how long itll take at 20odd gb i hope itll just work if not ill need to reply again, yea i think it was the sever error XD ah well least its semi working and not blocked

Hi so i re downloaded the maps only and applied the update, and it worked! its all working as it should now, i think the problem was due to a sever error, and i just did it all again and it worked after the server was fixed, many panics

it will work but reformat would have been easier.

Unless you are MY20 it’s really hard to brick these, trust me i know :wink:
