I need help to find the link to download

Every link I access has either added a new browser like wave, a win zip utility program and a pdf program, can someone please set up a hyper link that allows a new person to access the files or program to upgrade to Sync 3.4 and for the new maps or navigation, I am at a complete loss, I have tried to find a good link on the site for 3 days and I can not find the actual links to do the updates to my Sync system and navigation, please and thank you!

SYNC Region: NA

Navigation Variant: Nav

Manufacturer Year: Pre MY20

Install Type: OEM

Old SYNC Version: 3.0

New SYNC Version: 3.0

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
no, I can’t even locate the files on this site to begin the process

Update Method: Official Ford

You will also need to read the instructions.I dont have time to walk you through all of this.

ok, so you do have to put your credit card information in and set up to pay for everything, thanks for trying to help.

Hello,
I think there is a mistake with the link; this one is more appropriate:

Best regards,

Bill gave you the advice to get you on the right track.

I gotta say though, your first two posts come across kinda of snotty, not going to get much help.

I am not trying to be snotty, I am very frustrated, I usually don’t have to many issues following directions and installing software, but I guess this time it is very different, my apology for sounding rude.

All good, I was just saying how you came across.

If you’re trying to do a Ford update using CyanLabs, that will not work.

Like it was mentioned, read the documentation on how to update your Sync3.

It’s scary at first, but fairly easy. Pay attention to model year 2020 and above warnings.

The default settings of the updater app will do everything for you.

Good luck

My biggest problem is trying to figure out where the link is so i can get started on it, I keep finding links that force me into new browsers, pdf programs and update windows 10 and 11 drivers and I can’t find a good link on the Sync3 links that say to download the program, again, my apologies for coming off the wrong way, I may unfortunately not be able to update my sync system.

Honestly, I can’t imagine what issues you could be having to fail in something as simple as downloading a free software from Syn3 Updater - CyanLabs

It’s just 2 or 3 clicks away and if for whatever reason avoiding ads is beyond your abilities, I’m sure you can think of solutions for that in 2026…

I’m not sure if supporters get an ad-free experience, it used to be like that, so that would be another option (do not do it though, since i’m not familiar with its current state).

Anyways, I’m sure you are smart enough to solve this, no need to keep this thread open much longer…

Welll, as soon as I opened your email up and clicked on the icon with my phone i was able to grab the file and download it, thank you very much, my laptop obviously has an issue, is there any other file or files that I need to download for navigation? Again, I greatly appreciate it :folded_hands:

Tim

No, the tool will download everything required automatically based on how you configure it.

You need to read the documentation at https://cyanlabs.net/docs/syn3updater/ , specially https://cyanlabs.net/docs/syn3updater/getting-started/basic-usage/ .

Quick question, is ca in the region section Canada and does that also cover the U.S.A, I didn’t see the U.S so I want to make sure I pick the correct region that I am in, thank you in advance
