I want to wipe the map residues from the memory and perform a clean install from scratch. My car is a 2020 Ford with a MY20 SYNC system, so I cannot use the Reformat Tool. I need a safe way to clear space and reinstall maps because I’m stuck with memory errors.

I am trying to update my maps to F13 (2024) - EU (09 2025) by selecting only specific regions (Turkey, Bulgaria, and Greece). However, I keep receiving a ‘Navigation Failure’ error.
When I check the Interrogator Log, I can see that fragments of the old maps are still occupying the storage and I am unable to clear them. My vehicle is a 2020 Ford with a MY20 SYNC 3 system, so I know I must strictly avoid the Reformat Tool to prevent bricking my screen.
How can I safely wipe these old map residues and perform a clean installation without using the reformat method?
