incomplete functions

i have a 2013 explorer that i installed a sync 3 system in from a fusion. most of the system works. but i dont have any rear A/C controls. i can only control the front A/C from the controls below the screen. no heated seat function and the clock doest show on the screen or the instrument cluster anymore. im assuming its an asbuilt issue, but im not sure if i put asbutil from my 13 in. or does it need to be from a newer explorer.

You have an AB setting wrong in most likely your APIM. Post your AB settings for your APIM.

Did you mean you had heated seats in your OP?

You need a 9 or a B here for heated seats.

So I tried both 9&B. It shows the heated seat icon on the screen and it makes the noise when pressing it, but it doesn’t actually activate it. The same thing happens in the climate section, when you select to increase or decrease the temperature, fan speed, or change the modes it makes the noise that it was pressed, but nothing happens. I can only control the temp with the steering controls, or with the controls under the radio.

No, bought the radio with the APIM on Facebook. And ordered an adapter harness for it to plug in.

I don’t know what to tell you. The HVAC and heated seats are run off the HVAC module and you did not mess with that. Your settings are correct in your APIM and the ACM has nothing to do with any of it. Unless there is something I am not aware of or missed than I have nothing else to add.

Never use the APIM AB from your 13 profile again. It was for Sync 2 and the AB setting for Sync 3 are different.
