Install sync 3 version update on Lincoln

Downloaded Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251 on my flash drive ( previously formatted as exFAT ).
Injected the flash drive into car’s usb and got a normal running sync 3 with a notification “Updating System Software” and that’s it. Any ideas how to start the update ?

A couple of thoughts:

what version are you currently running?, check the about sync section.
the log states you used 3.4.22251 as both current and new/desired version, which results as a reformat (which is ok as long it’s not MY20). Configuring 1.xxx as current version will end with a reformat USB.
you are using a custom map package, right?. That leads me to believe your unit is not 64GB so storage may be an issue.
your pendirve is slow and generic “Model: VendorCo ProductCode USB Device”, so yeah, it’s almost a potato. And it’s slow because it took about one hour to create an USB with partial EU maps.

At this point, these are my recommendations:
A) Go to the about sync screen on the APIM, take a picture and post it here (hide the VIN if you care about it)
B) Use a decent and quality branded USB pendirve (not SD card, disk… a pendrive), not a generic one and recreate the USB again. Then, try again.
C) If that does not work, create an interrogator log and run it against the APIM. Post back the results (redact the VIN from the file’s title and content if you care about it).

Thank you for your time man. The issue was in the wrong updater config. I didn’t set correct “old” version in settings of the app. Now I’m all set, installation completed within 20 mins. FYI don’t need to change anything in car config for Navi. Lincoln system changed it automatically somehow. Again, thank you!

Also I hope you made sure to choose US as current (old) region of Sync because I see you’ve chosen EU as your vehicle region but it’s a Lincoln
