Is the KL3T (Gen4) APIM compatible with a 2011 Lincoln MKX?

I just bought a 2011 Lincoln MKX with super low miles. It has SYNC2 in it. I am looking at all the kits online and it is seems a simple enough install. I also already have a license for FORscan just in case I run into any problems. I was reading on here that people should be lookin for Gen 3 (Part # starts with a J) or Gen 4 (Part # starts with a K) due to the board being better in those versus the H version (Gen 1/2). I just bought a kit from a supplier that promised I would get a KL3T-14G370-PCH Gen4 APIM pre-programmed for my VIN and also add navigation and backup camera for me as on in the programming.

Am I going to run into any issues with the KL3T APIM in this older car or should it be fine? I did not have Navigation from the factory but I heard it isn’t hard to put that in with a donor VIN. I also didn’t have the OEM backup camera, but have the OEM backup camera being shipped to me as we speak and I plan to wire it to the APIM at a later date even if I have to run wires up to the head unit to do so. I am hoping these things are already pre-wired all the way to the back so I can just splice and add, but I don’t know how Ford handled their wiring for cars with and without backup cameras at the factory.

I just want to make sure the KL3T APIM will indeed work fine for my needs. Forgive me if this is not exact location this post should be in.

SYNC Region: NA

Manufacturer Year: Pre MY20

Install Type: OEM Replacement

Old SYNC Version: 3.4

New SYNC Version: 3.4

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
Not yet haven’t received unit yet.

Update Method: Official Ford

You can use a J/K/L the main reason people need to look for specific versions is if they have something specific in the firmware (don’t want to drop an H in a car that came with a K), since this is an upgrade it doesn’t really apply.
Just remember that you have to add a GPS receiver to the car just like any MFT upgrade.
F150Chief has a write up on this, you’re biggest problem is going to be the custom by VIN programming being correct.
