Full intrrogator log for/and APIM details (nav, no nav, region)
The log for the USB you are trying to use
I think you do not have enough free space to perform the downgrade, but I will wait to see more details before making that call. If that’s the case, you can free up some space by removing gracenotes.
Probably trying to install the Sync app, voice, and Gracenotes at the same time. Out of space. Remove Gracenotes, install only the Sync app and voice. Being you have a NON-NAV system, there will not be enough room for Gracenotes, most likely.
Go back to the Syn3 Updater and start over. The reformat.lst file is wrong. You need to downgrade to 3.3.19052 first before you do anything else in order to reformat to the latest version.
Your autoinstall.lst file needs to look like this…
You will have 1 file in the SyncMyRide folder:
4U5T-14G381-AN_1552583626000.TAR.GZ
Once this is done you can either reformat or autoinstall to the version you want. Since this is a NON-NAV APIM, only install the Sync App and current voice file for your region. Since you are in China, you should be able to install Gracenotes also, but after the app and voice files separately.
From the XML you posted above:
Your Sync app is presently at 5U5T-14G381-EB. 842Mb Sync3 v3.4.20021
Your voice app is presently at 5U5T-14G391-EL. 189Mb Sync3 v3.2.19345
The APIM part number is JR3T-14G371-BED. (2018)
You have 2.6GB of storage available.
You region should be China since the voice file is -EL. Looks like it is set.
The error is:
VER_ERR08 – Error is VER_SETTING_VER_INFO_ERROR
There is an error in the autoinstall.lst file. This one is corrected. autoinstall.lst (148 Bytes)
Make sure there are no other USB devices plugged into the vehicle, including your phone. You might try a master reset and then try the installation again.
Another message to you is that APIM cannot be used normally at present. Every time the power is turned on, it will become English. Even if it is adjusted to Chinese last time, it will become Yi next time
Make sure there are no other USB devices plugged into the vehicle, including your phone. You might try a master reset and then try the installation again.
