Lincoln MKX 2017 cannot update via WI-FI or USB from 2.2 build 16280 to the latest available

Hi, team! I’ve read the forum and found different answers but not for the same issue I have, maybe I missed the right case who knows, but I tried 2 variants and I cannot update at all. If I try via Wi-Fi it’s just showing the loader for several minutes and that’s it. I went to Lincoln official website indicated the VIN code and it showed me the current version and available version that I could download. I did everything by the manual 2 times (USB formatted to exFAT etc) and I all the time I got - Installation Failed Error Code: PKG_ERR03.
I just want to try upgrading it step by step if possible to 3.4. But at first I wanted to upgrade it to to latest official 3.0.23219. Please help with the detailed instructions. Thanks in advance

SYNC Region: NA

Navigation Variant: Nav

Manufacturer Year: Pre MY20

Install Type: OEM

Old SYNC Version: 2.2.16280

New SYNC Version: 3.0.23219

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
Installation Failed Error Code: PKG_ERR03

Update Method: Official Ford

To get to 3.4.x requires a reformat of the APIM, you cannot go directly from 2.2 or 3.0.
For CarPlay to work you may need to go to 2.3.17109 first.

To get to 3.0.23219 just go to syncmyride.com, enter your VIN and download the official package.

Make sure you have a GOOG quality USB and nothing plugged into any other USB ports.

Thanks, I’ll check tomorrow

And what should I change if now the car is in Europe not in Canada?

Unless you start sharing your autoinstall.lst files, this will be hard to troubleshoot.
Avoid using wifi updates…

There’s no need for this… Just make sure Android Auto and/or Car Play works on your current build, then you can go straight to 3.4 from there. If AA/CP do not work, make sure to install 2.2.17xxxx first → 2016 Mustang Sync3 1.0 updated to 3.0 and no Apple Carplay! - #10 by SaNdMaN

If you’re doing just the 3.0.x app the primary difference is the language files.
NA only has EN/SP/FR available

Well, Cyanlabs does not support changing regions…

Having said that, you can’t fit EU maps on that unit since it lacks the required space for EU nav packages, among other things… EU NAV APIMs are 64GB, NA NAV ones are 32GB…

But if you want, you can always check this guide that I’m sure will be helpful should you decide to upgrade to 3.4 → Tutorial: Current EU Maps Installation on US Imported Vehicles

Thanks for all the messages above. BTW syncmyride.com/ and https://www.lincoln.com/support/sync-maps-updates/ has the same archive that ends with the error code PKG_ERR03 because the download links are the same. I will try to follow 2016 Mustang Sync3 1.0 updated to 3.0 and no Apple Carplay! - #10 by SaNdMaN]] The language will remain the same, EN
