There are maps for your 2020 Expedition but you must purchase them from Ford. Becuse you have a 2020+ APIM in your truck you cannot use the reformat option to get newer maps or you will brick your APIM.
ok. i thought that was the case. i had the service contract but they now have the thing that says no more 5 years for downloads and only option is to spend money. lol thank you for your reply. i guess google maps are cheaper choice.

Flip side is you could replace your APIM with a 2019 K series APIM and as long as it has the correct calibration it would work fine with all the features aof a 2020. You can reformat a K series to get new maps.
Has anyone else noticed that the posted speed limit is off on the new maps? It will show 25 MPH when posted is 50-55MPH on some roads. Also showed 55 when posted was 50 on a different road.

The map data comes from the Q4 2024 Here map database, this doesnât update dynamically.
If the speed limit has changed or the state DOT hasnât published updated road data it wonât pick up the change.
This is one of the reasons why vehicles with TSR have the speed display in the NAV disabled, the TSR shows the correct speed on the cluster/HUD (if equipped).
Happens all over where I am at. Shows 25 all over the place on country roads that have been 55 forever.
