Hello.
Getting navigation fault on start up on my ford edge using sync 3.4. Sometimes it boots up ok other times it doesn’t, and I need to close the message then it works fine. Any suggestions of what it might be?

Usually this is an antenna issue when you have a retrofit like this. The aftermarket ones are mostly garbage.
Thanks Bill that was my thoughts as well. Do you have any idea where to get an oem or one that works? Ford dealer? Web?

I have done a couple OEM antenna upgrades. In some cases, I just needed the cable splitter that goes behind the glovebox. This add’s the blue GPS wire for Sync 3. In others I had to both that and a new antenna. I sourced mine from a junk yard or Ebay.
For an Edge I would look for one off a 17 or newer. The Explorer one will work also as it is the same one in many years. Many people on here have done it and found they had better results.
