Do you remember which countries you selected?

If you are willing to try something, here’s an idea (no guarantees)

  • create a new USB, but with no custom maps
  • once you select your desired sync3 version and EU maps, at the bottom uncheck / unselect all maps except these ones: 1U5T-14G421-BAJ, 1U5T-14G421-BBJ, 1U5T-14G421-BEJ and 1U5T-14G421-BFJ.
  • create the USB and run it against the unit

So you will be installing only those 4 map files, plus the other ones (sync3, gracenotes, license, and so on). Once you are done, perform a master reset and drive for a while.

That’s not what I asked you to do, you are still using custom package from the cutdown maps generator.
Anyways, as Cyanlab said, try recreating the custom package now since it it’s fixed from the root.

As said before, the cut down maps generator has been fixed, so you should be able to create a new order which will contain the correct maps. (So that you do not have to create it manually)

What you show in the log above should work on a 32GB APIM.

Just a note: If you did not change out the NA ACM for a EU version, the Logo file is not needed as you will not have Enhanced DAB reception with the NA ACM.

Use a decent USB pen drive, the log shows you.are using something generic (or something your computer can’t properly identify).

I used the same pendrive to go back to version 3.4.21265 without any problems.

That may be true, but it failed after 90 seconds, which leads me to believe the USB is not a good one. Which brand is it?.

Latest build has compass issues reported, but on specific models (yours does not seem to fit the criteria, but still).
One thing you could try is downgrading the Sync3 version to a previous one to see if it gets better.

You do this with autoinstall, you just downgrade Sync3 version, nothing else. It’s an easy thing to try.
