Hi all!
So this is my issue , I upgraded from the sync 1 small little screen to sync 3 with the latest 3.4 … I have absolutely no sound from any speakers , I’ve done all the self diag tests in forscan , and on sync debug mode itself and still nothing.
A bit of back story , I’m gen 3 coyote swapping my ecoboost mustang , so I had to replace my dash harness , body harness , BCM and ecu etc etc , all my harness are BRAND NEW OEM from ford so I can confirm I’m not having a wiring issue.
I’m using a 2021 sync 3 system with apim NON Nav , my 2018 ecoboost ACM , and a 2019 DSP , all gen 3 stuff. I’m pretty fluent in for scan , and cannont for the LIFE of me figuring out as to why I have no sound from my speakers… fuses are all good , sync functions perfectly , no touch screen beeps or sound …
My ACM , APIM , and DSP module are all being found in forscan … I do however get 1 DTC code from the DSP module
Audio line enabled short to ground … all the connectors are properly seated , no broken pins or wires , and all my interior grounds are perfectly seated … I’m just lost at this point …and just as another bit of info I’m not using any jumper harnnnes or adapters
