No audio output when ignition on

Hi All,

Just done a sync3 retro fit.
The sound works fine if you turn the unit on with no ignition, but as soon as you turn the ignition on or start the engine, there is no sound output. Any ideas?

Agreed, but what info?

I thought I had covered the problem in my OP.

So to start again,

2011 Ford C-Max, upgraded from BVC to SYNC3.

All wiring seems to be correct.

The unit turns on ok, and sound is working when turned on using the “Vol/On” button.

When the ignition (push button) is turned on, the sound turns off but the unit is still on and working, turning the volume up and down shows the volume increasing/decreasing but no sound.

Press the ignition button again to turn off and the sound is back.

To add, I have full access to legitimate UCDS and Forscan extended.

This can be removed, it’s sorted now.

Turned out to be a wiring issue.
