No bluetooth, USB or Carplay audio

Hi, so i have a 2013 ford focus navigation with sync 1. Last year i retorfit a sync 3 system to be able to use carplay but the software was only v2.2 so i then used Sync3Updater to update to v3.4. That worked fine and i was able to use carplay perfectly but the update caused the screen to always be an max dim so i used forscan to change that in the bcm but when i was there i noticed a tab called “bluetooth handsfree”. When i first installed the sync 3 there has been no audio on calls so i thought this was the problem and decided to change the input from (BT/VC Phone interface + USB Connection) to (Bluetooth Handsfree). After this the usb, bluetooth and carplay audio wouldn’t play out of the speakers but my phone would connect and show the song playing on the screen but the radio audio would work fine. Ive since changed back this settings and it still didn’t work. I have done a lot of research on the apim as-built code and changed may bits and bytes to see if it will work but no luck so i think that the apim is fine. However the acm as built in forscan is very small so i cant do a lot with that. I also swapped the old acm back in but that didn’t work. I decided to take sync 3 out and put symc 1 back in but on the phone menu it says “audio muted”. I have a feeling that the sync 3 acm changed its as built which i cant access and then when i put the symc 1 acm in to see if this was the case it also done the same thing. I am writing this to see if anyone more knowledgeable would understand this issue before i go and spend €100 on a acm for it not to be the problem.

Also it would be nice if i could get the call audio working.

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
No

Update Method: Official Ford

This cannot happen. There is nothing that can change the AB on an ACM other than you or Ford.

If you cant access the AB on the ACM you have other problems that need to be resolved first. Make sure you are creating a new profile in Forscan for your vehicle everytime you swap a module.

Post your APIM and ACM AB here so we can take a look at it.

Lastly, if you bought a wire harness that could be the issue also. We have seen alot of those lately. The Blutooth is in the APIM and it does send the signal to the ACM. If there is a wiring issue here this could also be an issue.

I can access the acm but one line of code is present.

A wiring problem does seem like the likely cause but i did continuity test between all stereo wires and there was no problem.

Did you replace the original ACM when you upgraded to sync 3?
