My gps just stopped working, did the following
- Unplugged battery
- Master reset
- Soft reset
Any damage to the roof antenna? Do you have a cargo box on top? Are you in a parking garage?
Are you using a wireless charger in the car? Ford has said these can interfere with GPS and IA signals.
Is Sirius radio working?
None of this would be the difference. You likely have an electrical/mechanical failure.

It would appear your GPS antenna, which is in the roof antenna might be bad. That or the wiring is bad somewhere between the APIM and than antenna.
There is also a splitter cable the runs along the bottom of the glove box that could also be bad. It’s nothing the internet can fix.
Were you doing some Forscan modifications?
No, I never did anything to my vehicle at all. It’s 100% OEM. I don’t have Forscan.

When on Radio change the source to Sirius. You should hear something on their demo channel.

I do not see any photo’s. While they say Sirius does not work in Hawaii it does. But if you do not want to try it than thats fine.

Satellite signals for SiriusXM are present in Hawaii, I know that for sure since I am here right now, but SiriusXM is not licensed to do business in Hawaii. I have a portable player and it works fine for the most part. There are some areas in Hawaii that signals would not be readily available.
You could perform the test posted above or look at the GPS menu in the APIM, outside of Sync, for satellite data and signal strength.

Yes I see the photo’s. I have asked you to tell me if your picking up Sirius radio. You have come up with every excuse as to why you cant. There are 3 problems here and I am trying to narrow it down to which one it is. You either answer my questions or I am done and you can deal with Ford at $180 an hour.
It shows sid in siriusxm but it doesn’t play any sound.
Thank you, That means it is your antenna that went bad or the blue(power)/coaxial wire is cut/unplugged somewhere. I would guess a bad antenna. Do you have the hotspot with your Explorer?
