Problem: "Installation In Progress" message won't disappear after updating to 3.4.23188

Hello!
After updating my SYNC 3 system using Syn3 Updater to version 3.4.23188, I encountered an issue.

The update was completed successfully, everything is working correctly, but every time I start the car, I get this message: Installation In Progress
Some features will continue to be disabled until this process is complete.
Please keep the update USB in the system
and the engine running so that it can complete.

What I have tried so far:

  1. Reinserted and reran the same USB — did not help.
  2. Left the USB plugged in with the engine running for a long time — did not help.
  3. Performed a Master Reset — did not help.

Everything else in the system is functioning perfectly, but this message keeps popping up at every start.
My setup:
Car: Lincoln MKZ 2019
SYNC version: 3.4.23188
Region: EU

I would really appreciate advice on how to overwrite or clear the installation flag to make this message go away.
I can provide the installation log if needed.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Most likely there are leftovers after some installation (to be precise, they are “/fs/images/ivsu_cache/autoinstall.*” files).
I believe a subsequent successfull installation ran one or twice should clear this.
On one of forums user “Acool” prepared an “autoinstall.lst” file which just made Sync3 install a map and a license again. You can try this, below his method modified to use the smallest of EU maps (Cyprus) and license. Using his method was reported to help.
You need to have a pendrive formatted in exFat.
Contents of the “autoinstall.lst” file in the main directory:

[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
Item1 = ACOOL2f13
Open1 = SyncMyRide\1U5T-14G421-BJL_1723602553000.TAR.GZ
Item2 = ACOOL2f13
Open2 = SyncMyRide\1U5T-14G424-BN_1727700842000.TAR.GZ
Options = Delay, AutoInstall, Include, Transaction

Be sure your system shows file extensions, so you don’t create “autoinstall.lst.txt”, as this will not work.
Download the two packages (search by “1U5T-14G421-BJL” and “1U5T-14G424-BN”) using SYNC 3 APIM Software (IVSU) Database - CyanLabs
Place them in the “SyncMyRide” directory on the pendrive. Go to your car.
After installing this twice reboot Sync3 (power and seek right for more than 5 seconds), then turn the car off and leave it for some time.

I had the same issue. Since my Sync3 is jailbroken and I did not know the above solution yet, I have prepared a script with “rm -rf /fs/images/ivsu_cache/autoinstall*”. After this and reboot of Sync3 the message was still here. It did not reappear when I went back to the car a few hours later, though, and I have not seen it since.
