Done the update from 3.3 to 3.4 all working fine apart from rear camera . It’s was nice and crisp before an in colour now its black and white and grainy . Thanks in advance

You are trying to reinstall everything, a full reformat with maps.
That’s not necessary, since you only need to downgrade Sync3 version.
Having said this, it should work.

Ok, if no other device is connected (USB, SD card reader) and none of the USB ports trigger the update, I would suggest trying a different USB pendrive (not disk).
For some reason it’s not detecting the USB.

If you haven’t done so, try another USB port on the car (if you have more than one, maybe under the arm rest).
It’s a bit odd the issue you are having, since I assume you used this pendrive before (but maybe not a reformat process). The unit is 100% recoverable, it’s in the reformat phase, it just needs a reformat USB.
Just to rule something out, could you please post a screenshot of the USB’s root contents?.
Just to double check there’s a reformat.lst file on the root, with some text in it.
Am just on with creating a new usb .i will post a log of the usb when its comp0lete .cheers

That’s good. If you got past the previous “error” and the USB is doing its thing, its just a matter of time.
For some reason the other USB drive had issues.
Since it’s an EU installation, it will take well over 30 minutes but less than an hour.
So just be patient, it will be fine.
exracing map package takes a while
