Red Screen Error When Installing

I have a photo. I insert USB and everything starts moving along fine. I see the pictures of the Mustang and Ford emblem cycle through, and then I get an error.

Can’t read the drive or installation is not right…

Got it… So I need to start over again, or get a new thumb-drive or use a different computer to download?

Sometimes it will go halfway across and then I will get the same screen with a different file path though. I am willing to do whatever I need to do to at least get some functionality back.

Yep

I can certainly do that… Do I need to try a different variation? I just chose the latest on both. I don’t mind backing it down a few - I am just not sure which to choose together. I have Sync 3 with Navigation. It was on 3.0.23219 before I started this adventure.

Go to the latest version, 3.4.23188 with the newest maps available for NA (US) in Syn3 Updater.

I will do that! I have Amazon delivering a new USB drive overnight… I cannot have completely destroyed the vehicle… Yet… hehehehehehe The screen I have right now currently just cycles between the Mustang and the Ford Emblem and asks me to insert the USB.

Not a big deal. Won’t hurt anything…

Just recreate the installation and insert the USB. Let us know if you need anything.

I definitely will do that.

I really appreciate your helping me… You have no idea!

So… Amazon was late delivering my USB and I had already downloaded an older version on the old USB. Yesterday, I went ahead and tried to install it in the car and it worked with no issue… Hurrah… I have my new USB today. I am going to try to install the latest version of everything again now.
