Red screen of death updating from 3.0 to 3.4

Following all the steps inserted the usb stick to get sync into reboot mode- went great, then the update screen came on and I entered usb stick with update but get the red screen that says :Error update ush_installer.sh not found…

The error message comes up within 15 seconds of inserting usb.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try a master reset and see if you can find a brand name USB device.

I pulled the battery over night. Upon plugging back in the reboot screen is still there.

Tried buying a sandisk usb stick this morning, loaded the update and now I get the red screen immediately vs. the old stick taking 15 seconds to come up with an error message.

When you say mater reset, how would I accomplish this being stuck on the boot screen.

Thanks for your help, really appreciate it.

Post the log for the USB creation (since you changed USB).
Also, post a picture of the red screen error. The whole screen.

I added the usb_installer.sh file from boot loader folder to the install thumb drive and it took- updated to 3.3. Now o plan to try. 3.4.

Thanks for the help

Ok.
