iv bought a top spec 2015 ford focus st3 it has every extra going. the focus was retro fitted with sync 3 by ford as the guy who owned it before me worked there. the car currently on sync 3 build 3.0 18025. i want to know if im in danger of bricking my unit if i proceed with a sync update. im looking to update to 3.3 last build with f10 maps. reason for 3.3 update is that iv read alot of folks navigation has stopped working very recently and they have fixed it by upgrading to 3.3 from cyanlab. my current sync build has everything on it. this my 1st post guys im also not very tech minded. i have downloaded the last 3.3. build from your site and already have it in usb ready to go i just thought id ask this question thanks inadavance also my sync 3 unit has my vin number etc on it
ok guys bug thank sat nav back working after 3.3 update. nothing lost all everything working as should.
