Rolling back sync 3.4 versions

I bought a 2020 Ford puma form a Ford dealer last year and asked them to update the sync system as it hadn’t ever been done. It showes it now has sync version 3.4.23188 but I still have a pale screen, not the deep blue interface my 2023 Kuga and her old Fiesta 2020 had. I also have no radio icons even though the slider is over to on. I’m wondering if it didn’t update correctly or whether the jump from the factory version in 2020 to the lastest didn’t work correctly. Unfortunately, my local dealer hasn’t been much help. IS it possible to download an older version and load that and update from there or will it cause problems ?

You can use the Ford published updates or the Syn3 Updater to roll back as far as Sync 3.3, either will work and use the exact same files. You should probably try to roll back to Sync 3.4.21265 and see if that resolves the issues.
