I had a sync 2 and bought a 3rd party Sync 3 on Amazon for my 2013 Ford Escape. I’m selling the car now. If I do a master reset, will it require cyanlabs updater to work again?

A master reset only deletes user data

Yep…it will just reset to factory state and your phone details and any saved Nav addresses will be lost.
The only thing is the new owner will need to use Cyanlabs for any future software or map updates and you may like to pass that on. :slightly_smiling_face:
