Please run the APIM Interrogator Tool to create a log and post the results here. You can run it from the SYN3 Updater application in the Tools section.

Syn3 Updater - CyanLabs

You mean the buttons on the panel below the screen (hard panel) are no longer working, like the volume, seek, etc.? The buttons on screen do work?

Thanks for the reply
Yes the buttons below the screen ,volume, tune, play… the touch screen works and the streering wheel buttons all work fine

I assume you have FORScan? Look at the DTC values in the APIM. What do they say?

Also, what region? bg19 cly? 554B is UK as indicated in your asbuilt above.

Also, what version of APIM was in this vehicle before? There is no OEM asbuilt for it.

i had snyc 3 fitted after, only had a dab radio when i got the vehicle, a non nav apim was installed and very thing works fine with that apim. yes im uk, im new to FORScan, what am i looking for in the DTC values?
new apim J87T-14G371-NFB with nav
old apim JK2T-14G371-ADB no nav installed buttons work when i put this one back in
thanks for all your help

Connect Forscan to the vehicle and look for the DTC’s for the APIM. They wil be in the section with the Caution sign to the left.

Select the DTC and copy the description and post it here.

Also, if you could, place the old APIM back in and run the Interrogator Tool on it and post the results like above.

@handsomegav

Did your issue get resolved?

The Transit Forum has some info on this…

2020 Radio upgrade from 4" screen to 8" screen | Ford Transit USA Forum

hi i never got it sorted out, been using my old apim
hopefully these help

Sync_NXC4016C_WF0ZXXTTGZKC35922.xml (10.4 KB)

I’ll take a look…

thanks

Did you clear the 3 APIM DTC’s and do they come back?

Clear all the DTC’s and then start the vehicle and see if they return…
