Software update

I did as you wrote earlier. I have two flash drives ready. One with freeing up apim space, the second with a downgrade and the third with a new update. What about the logs of radio stations? An error popped up with a previous update

I think it’s the first time I see an APIM with only 3 MB of free space…
No, it’s not enough.

Follow the tutorial, remove gracenotes.
If that’s not enough, try installing the small voice package.
If that’s not enough, try downgrading to 3.3.

All these steps will free storage.
All of this is explained in detail in the tutorial.
It says you need at least 1.5 GB of free space, so 7 MB is not enough…

I am also surprised by the amount of space. I am wondering now about the logs of radio stations … will there be a file error again …

Removing Gracenotes and installing the smaller NA system voice file will give you 2.55GB of free space, enough to do the upgrade and local voice file. You should have enough room for the logo file for radio stations, but probably not Gracenotes. Follow the tutorial above, it will take you thru all of this.

I don’t understand something here. In the tutorial, it is only written and given how to reduce voice files to Na? There is talk of grecanotes … but nothing else. Unless the pendrive with freeing up space also removes grecanotes?

Linked in the tutorial: Removal of Gracenotes tutorial. This function is also available in the Syn3 Updater Tools section.

The Syn3 Updater can be used to create a Small Voice Package Replacement USB in the Tools section.

So I don’t have logs because there is not enough space? I will do as you say. First grecanotes, then files for later downgrade and only then installs the latest version. I’ll let you know how it went over the weekend. But I will have to install grecanotes files again, right?

In sum. The new gracanotes will be installed with the new update, right? Do I have to search for the correct file?

Remove Gracenotes, install the NA voice file, then see if you can install the latest software with the voice file and DAB file also.

Do NOT install Gracenotes at this point. Wait to see if there is enough storage after the above is done.

Usnolem crecanotes. The system restarted 3 times. I checked how much memory there is and available … I attach a photo

Managed to downgrade to 3.319052  now I’m ripping new updates

And an error appeared

The update was successful. Now he wants to solve the dab issues …

Run the Interrogator Tool and post the results here.

You don’t have the storage space (memory) available to install the DAB file. It’s either Gracenotes or DAB.

If you could use another voice file that does not include Polish, you could gain the memory needed for the DAB file with Gracenotes. Unfortunately, the large EU voice file is the only one with Polish language.

so now what? to delete grecanotes? and download DAB?

I have a car from the USA … a file that contains Polish can be reduced as well?

Delete Gracenotes, install the DAB file.

None of the Gracenotes files include Polish according to the notes on FFClub. When you are using Gracenotes now, what language appears? Which file is installed? (-AC?) It might be possible to use a smaller GN file. See this tutorial for a list of languages and files.

Tutorial: No Gracenotes After Sync 3.4 Installation. Manual Installation Instructions - Ford / Guides & Info - CyanLabs Official Community

I noticed your region is set to Ukraine (5550) rather than Poland (504C).

There is only the one file version with Polish language, which you have installed.
