2014 Fusion Hybrid S retrofitted to Sync 3 from Sync 1 with 8" “regular” control panel and APIM from a 2017 escape.
So I’ve been trying for like two days to get past this. I created a rwdata cleaner flash drive as well as a full install drive. If I put the rwdata cleaner in most times I get a err12, every once in a while I get “update will be installed on next reboot” but even if I can get it to reboot it still gives an err12 trying to do a full install. I’ve tried soft resetting with forscan (the power + FF method doesn’t work, not sure why) waiting, and a number of other things and I’m running out of ideas. I have a backup non-nav APIM but would like to get this one fixed. If I get the rwdata cleaner to work it stops hanging completely and staying stuck on backup camera etc but it won’t ever actually let me do an update.
