Syn3 aborting - Unable to validade

I’m trying to setup a drive to update my apim from 3.4.20196 to the most recent with map updates to 2020, but I keep getting this error:
Unable to validate 4U5T-14G421-DAF_1615429515000.TAR.GZ after 3 attempts, ABORTING PROCESS!
I’m on South America and my car is from 2018.

At which stage is it failing?, downloading or copying to USB?

Downloading. It attempt to validate 3 times than aborts.

This has been reported many times by only a small portion of users and cannot be reproduced for troubleshooting. As the error says, the server (Ford’s) is closing the connection.

This is what you could do:

  • Keep trying until it succeeds
  • Try a different computer
  • Try a different network
  • Configure Syn3Updater to only use a single download connection instead of 8
  • Manually download the files via a browser and save them into the Syn3Updater download folder and re run the process: Syn3Updater will find the files locally and validate them without re-downloading and later create the USB drive. Also, post your logs, since we do not know which file is failing on.
