i have a 2016 Ford Explorer, just did a sync 2 to sync 3.4 update from a company, gave the VIN, and they programmed it. My original Sync 2 system for the reverse camera is per Ford’s description, rear only parking aid equipped with visual park aid alert, manual zoom, fixed guide lines, and active guide lines. After performing the update, all I had was the fixed guidelines. I do have access to ForScan, and with this forum i was able to get my visual park aid alert to work, as well as the button for the manual zoom but it doesn’t actually change, and there are no active guidelines. From my understanding, Sync 3.4 came out for the explorers in 2020, when they changed the rear camera to a coaxial instead of the lin camera that I have. My question is because of that the apim is not sending a lin message out for the camera/communicating properly to the bcm for manual zoom and I also dont know what the 2020 explores use for the active guidelines, but is there anyway i can program it so I have the zoom and lines?

Old SYNC Version: 2.3.10
New SYNC Version: 3.4.23811
Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
I do have a code in the APIM U023B, lost communication with IPMB. This is for vehicles equipped with front and rear cameras, which mine does not have, so I don’t have an impb. I haven’t figured out how to fix that yet
