SYNC 2012 F250 SOUNDS POSSESSED

Help. My battery went dead and both batteries in my 2012 F250 SUPERDUTY 6.7 had to be replaced. Radio works fine. SYNC…it’s sounds really distorted and digital. I have tried downloading the file to a usb. But last night the screen says ‘Installing File’ for 3 hours. No joy. I’m not sure what to do.

The Cyanlabs updater will not work with this old version of Sync.

Thanks. So…what’s my best option? Do you know if a direction you could point a guy in? I honestly think it’s the software. But I’m stuck.

Perform a master reset on the unit and then ignition cycle the vehicle…

I wish there was a solution. If you had Sync 2 in a 2013 than you would have more options.
