Sync 3.0 to 3.4 update, no navigation

Hello, I have a Ford Focus RS 2017, I updated the SYNC 3.0 version using Syn3Updater, everything went well, the update was loaded correctly, however, the navigation has not been operational, “Navigation Failed” The navigation does not work correctly. Contact dealer for repair.

It should be noted that we are changing the navigation version from NA to South America (Chile), can you please help us or guide us what could be the problem? I share the record.

CyanLabs does not support changing region, however you will need to tweak asbuilt entries to be the correct navigation type and region.

When you mention adjust, is it via Fordscan APIM or parameters in Sync Updater?

This tutorial is for ROW, but it’s the same procedure for South America. You only need to look at the Region Programming part. Your system is Telenav, so you don’t need to do anything about that entry.

Hi team,

After the recommendation of @F150Chief I managed to change the navigation to SA, the only change that was pending was to modify the region, by doing this the navigation started to work perfectly. Thank you very much!

APIM Asbuilt Settings:

The country information in the APIM As Built needs to be changed:
from 7D0-02-01 5553 xxxx xxxx
to 7D0-02-01 XXXX xxxx xxxx
This setting changes the country from US to your country code.
