Reading a previous post in the forum about updating my Sync 3 to the Sync 3.4 latest version. It is my understanding that if I do this on my 18 Nav, then I will have to get Forscan and hook that up and make some changes with that for the screen to fit the 10". I believe that I read that if I just go to sync 3.0 20204, then I can update my maps and it won’t change my screen size and thus not have to worry about making other changes.
When I went to the Current Configuration and got to the part of choosing the new version, it only has versions of Sync 3.3 and 3.4. Is there a way to still get the 3.0 20204 still?

No error, just won’t let me update.

Yes, Sync 3.0.20204 (https://cyanlabs.net/fhub/sync3/sw-db/?ivsu=JR3T-14G381-AX) is available, the latest is Sync 3.0.23219 (https://cyanlabs.net/fhub/sync3/sw-db/?ivsu=JR3T-14G381-AY) for the 3.0 platform. You will need the Sync voice files and Gracenote for the complete set of files to use. These are all available in the IVSU Database on the site.

For Sync 3.0.20204 or 23219, you will need:
JR3T-14G391-CE Sync Voice
JR3T-14G423-CB Gracenote (This is optional.)

Since you are already on Sync3 v3.0.17202 (21.07.2017) you do not need an interim update for CarPlay.
