Hi… Just wondering, if this is a bug in 22251, but if i write a adress in the navi where i want to drive to, tehn some letters it make them big like P and not p, and the phone book it wont not always search by letter if i push B or any els letter. i have try to factory reset by master reset, i have pull the battery of, i also try to make a forcede reset in forscan
If you didn’t perform a master reset, start by that.
Also, make sure to remove Sync3 from your phone’s Bluetooth and then re pair it.
About the build, 21265 has been flagged by the community as the most stable one, so if the precious fails maybe you could try that specific build.

I’m in the UK with a Ranger 2017 (replacing a destroyed L200).
Following various threads here I am now at 3.4.22251.
Path was:
Stock (whatever came with vehicle) → 3.0.20204 EU 4 15 maps, via Ford over home WiFi.
3.0.20204 EU 4 15 → 3.0.20204 F11 maps, (manual) via tutorial here
3.0.20204 F11 → 3.4.22251 F11 maps, via Syn3 Updater
So far minor issues experienced include:

For a while ford.co.uk thought my vehicle was in South Africa (no manuals, update versions, etc available on website). Seems fine now (Ford glitch?)

No map version available on ford.co.uk website; updates go to US navivision.com site.

I see that others experience this issue and will that it will likely be resolved at later date.
- Once DAB radio has given message “DAB radio service not available” and steering wheel buttons for entertainment became unresponsive. Switching off vehicle for a couple of minute sorted this.
One O/T Q. - can the display show the date as well as time?

There is no setting to enable this in the APIM asbuilt for Sync 3.

I just updated my '18 F-150 from 3.0 to this version and so far no concerns. Process was smooth and completed without any errors.

Upgraded last night on my 2016 Ford Fusion with from 3.4.22110. No issues took about 35 minutes. Master reset performed immediately after. Smooth process

After update the clock is not show correct hour.Tried to adjust from gps and no gps found message display.sometimes it show freezes in a random hour.Also the information from the android ford app are not shown anymore.

Try this site https://www.fmods.net/ they have a mod called Date to show date on status bar of sync 3 download and install it but you have to jailbreak your system

Since I update to 22251 any time I turn on the car I need to pair my phone and confirm all the settings like a new installation. Anyone could help me, please?
Sounds like your emmc is faulty/corrupt
Did you do a master re-set? that happened me till i re-set.
I just updated my 2018 Focus to 3.4.22251. Worked great although I got a little bit nervous while updating, because it took 48 minutes and got stuck a long time in “Extracting Voice nav package”. But finally, it worked.
But now the “Direct Tuning” button on the Radio screen disappeared. I found that very useful. Any ideas?
And I didn’t get the Climate screen.
Sorry for asking it here… it’s another question: Is there a hack not to get into iPhone’s default navigation app by pushing the Navigation menu key on SYNC with Carplay connected but still using the built-in navigation?
Edit: I did perform a factory reset immediately after upgrading.

Just did the update yesterday.
Everything went fine. Did a master reset.
Still got the same message when I plug my smartphone (oneplus 10 Pro) : USB Device not supported. Please remove. => I just click ok and it works like a charm…

Hello to everybodye.
I’m from Ukraine with a Ford Escape 2016.
I decided to upgrade my Sync3 system (without navigation) from very ancient v. 1.0.15139 to the last 3.4.22251. Update process finished successfully and almost everything works fine. But when I decide to perform Master Reset I noticed that button “Master Reset” is inactive (grey). How can I fix it?
I think that happens if the ignition is not on.
So if you tried that with the engine not running, try with the engine running.

I afraid that in my car without built-in navigation not enough free space.
Please, use the edit button instead of publishing 3 consecutive messages.
About changing regions, Cyanlabs does not support it.
But you will find enough information on this platform and google. If anything else is required, create a separate thread for discussion.
