Hi, I could use an asbuilt configuration of the C-max Hybrid sync3 -APIM
I upgraded from sync2 to sync3, and can’t get it cofigurated properly…
Help would be welcome
Thanks in advance

Hi Thierry,

Here is a Sync 3 asbuilt for a 2018 C-Max Titanium Hybrid. It’s NA but should be applicable.

The situation is as follows : have loaded the above as-built. There is no time display and no climate control. Climate control not on the screen, is this supposed to be like that? In the meantime I have found 2 extra VINs of C-Max hybrids, they all give the same picture … I have Sirius instead of DAB, but that’s because it is NA … It turns out that climate control is not possible with the c-max, that it can only be operated manually with the buttons, is this correct?

Hi Thierry,

1st is what architecture is set up on APIM?
2nd are you doing on bech or on car? As APIM needs to communicate with FCIM in order to get Climate, for the clock is responsible IPC unit.
Just a remark that CMAX are using C1MCA architecture and not CGEA as far as I know.

Cheers

:+1:

Climate control was not equipped for the APIM in C1CMA vehicles. Later versions were different.

Yes, this is true.

So, just for the record…i assume c-max and focus are related and thus have great similarities in terms of as-built settings? Or am I wrong? And that the focus from 2015 until the facelift (3.5) has the C1MCA architecture and from the facelift the CGEA? Assuming this is correct and I want to put sync3 in a 2015/2016 cmax/focus, I have to set C1MCA… .not CGEA.
Another question: what is PDC architecture?

You are correct, sir.

Parking Distance Control
You will need PDCA CIMCA.
