I have been testing it today again and it does switch to dab radio but it does automatically, it does not find radio stations if I scanned them, to be honest I don’t even know how dab radio works, I have also installed a OEM GPS+radio antena in the back of the apim and navigation works fully, only issue I have is that sometimes I get the usb hub error, but I am thinking of a hack with that, which will probably need some soldering.
Ps: any ideea how this was done?
Sounds like you have it fixed. DAB is automatic, like HD Radio here in the US, it’s just another channel in the broadcast of the main channel. You can’t search for DAB or HD Radio specifically unless you have a receiver which can filter that specifically.
Sounds like if you want to use CarPlay you will need a new hub. If you use Android, it will still work. There is a message mute for he hub at FMods also. They have a lot of cool stuff, but it requires you to jailbreak the APIM. You can also put the APIM back to not JB, so there is not much of a risk there. The stuff they have developed is very good and stable.
