Sync 3 problem z działaniem

Hello, I have a problem with the sync 3 system, I have version 3.4.23188, the system was broken and I had various mods installed. The battery in the car died and since then the station logos have not been displayed and the system does not remember the position of the on-demand camera switch. The on-demand camera does not work. Is there any way to solve this problem? Can I update again via cyanlabs? My car is a 2021 Ford Mondeo MK5 Hybrid.

SYNC Region: EU

Navigation Variant: Nav

Manufacturer Year: Unknown

Install Type: Retrofit

Old SYNC Version: 3.4.23188

New SYNC Version: 3.4.23188

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
Błędów brak. Jedynie nie ma loga stacji i nie działa kamera na żaanie. Pozostałe funkcje działąja.

Update Method: Official Ford

You can do an in place reinstall of the existing version or downgrade to a lower version of 3.4 since it won’t require a reformat.
You would select the existing version as say 3.4.21194 and a target version of 3.4.23188
If you’ve jailbroken the unit and have FMODs items installed just reinstalling 3.4.23188 may not help.

Thanks for your reply.
So I can’t fix it otherwise? Previously everything worked normally. I don’t know what APIM version I have and I don’t want to break anything. So I have to go back to the previous version and then update again to the one I have? It is not possible to re-upload the same version, the latest 3.4.23188?

Is there any fix for Sync3 build 23188 for radio station icons in the tray? I managed to repair the camera and everything works. The problem with radio station logos on the bar remains.

You would be reloading 3.4.23188.
This is just telling the updater you need all of the 3.4.23188 files (eg App & Voices).

The whole sync worked fine. It only broke down when my small 12V battery went flat (I have a 2021 Mondeo MK5 hybrid). After the battery went flat, the small icons with the station logos disappeared from the station selection bar. When I hold down the station name, an icon appears. When I restart sync, it is gone, only the station name is there. I wonder why this happened. Maybe it can be fixed somehow. I don’t know what APIM version I have, so I wouldn’t like to reinstall it. How can I check my APIM version?

This isn’t a “corrupted” Sync3 issue if it worked before and the only change is the 12v battery going flat, its an APIM problem.
What codes does ForScan show?
Was the 12v battery replaced? The Fusion/Mondeo Gen2/2.5 HEV/PHEV get a little wonky when the 12v battery starts to go bad, I’ve seen power windows intermittently work, wipers act up, clusters flicker, etc

I charged the battery again and everything works. There is no problem with anything. The small battery in the hybrid is only used for starting. My sync 3 version is LU5T-14G371-GMF, so MY20. Forscan shows no errors. Unless there is a place where you can read any errors, please provide instructions. I can read basic errors. It is possible to try to reinstall the NU5T-14G381-AD_1689364279000.TAR.GZ update and the autoinstallh file. Do you need any additional file? I did the previous update from the Ford website but I no longer have these files. Due to my APIM version, can I break something with such an update?
The only problem is that the small radio station logos are disappearing. The large logos are ok.

Actually the battery in the HEV/PHEV is used for booting up the electronics and acts as a buffer between the 12v systems in the car and the BECM.
The HEV/PHEV doesn’t have a stater, the HVB is used to turn the eCVT and start the car.

Ok, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that the station’s logos don’t appear on the buttons?
Or maybe it’s something to do with software? It is necessary to replace the 12V battery. Charging it with a rectifier does not change anything.

The button info is held in the ACM, not the APIM.
I’d suggest changing all the preset buttons to a non DAB station and leaving it that way for a week.
After that trying putting them back, hopefully the APIM can then match the logos to the identifier being sent by the ACM.

Ok I will save the stations in a different place than originally. I will drive the car and let you know what happened.

Notice that I said to use a non-DAB station for the buttons, not just rearranging what station was on what button.

Yes, I understand, I don’t use DAB. I use an FM station.

Hello
Still no change, the station logos are not displayed. I am thinking about replacing the 12V battery. I measure the voltage after a night and the measuring device shows 12.03V. Maybe that is the problem. It should be around 12.4V. Could this be the reason that Sync 3 does not display the station logo on the buttons after restarting?

Highly doubtful that the 12v battery is the cause of this.
If they didn’t come back after being on straight FM then you are probably dealing with a case of a mismatch between what the ACM is sending to the APIM as the station identifier and what the APIM has in its internal DB.
There was a thread way back where a guy had issues with the logos not matching for stations in his area and he wound up getting into the database in the package and “fixing” the mismatch for his area.

It’s a bit strange because everything was working before until the battery went flat. Do you have a link to this problem or a way to fix it?

Before this situation with the disappearance of the station logo, I also uploaded wallpapers to sync 3. On a pendrive, I created a folder “customerBackgrounds” and in it the night day folders and placed the .jpg files there. The file names consisted of the numbers 1, then 2, then 33. Maybe sync read it as the station frequency? I read that you can also add the station logo this way if it does not exist for my region. But why does the logo appear when I save the radio station again.

So in addition you’ve also jailbroke the APIM with FMods.
You may need to start asking questions over on their site.

Use the Universal Reformatter from FMods and restore the APIM to factory with Sync 3.4. Instructions are there on the site. Join their telegram and ask if you are not sure.
