Sync 3 Problems with Build 21194

Hello community, I have the following problem with my Sync 3.4:
3 weeks ago the radio simply switched to English after starting the engine. After researching online, I wanted to update to 23188, but it doesn’t. RW data cleaner connected several times and log file, it simply does not delete the rw data.
Can you help me. LOG file follows.
Ford Mondeo ST-Line 07/2019 Sony Radio

thank you for help

Hi.

Could you please upload the actual XML file instead of pasting “code”?, thanks.

Also, if the tool is not working for you, I would try the other methods described here → APIM Sync Settings Not Saving, VER_ERR08 Errors, Cannot Perform Master Reset or Upgrades/Updates (Solved) .

Once you make enough room on the APIM proceed and install the latest 3.4 version (which contains the fix for the issue). If your unit is not MY20 reformat it, otherwise a simple Sync3 upgrade with autoinstall should be enough.

Hi, thanks for the answer
Sync_NY4A02R3_WF0FXXWPCFKL10173.xml (11.1 KB)
@SaNdMaN
I don’t know whether it’s an APIM with my20 or my20+

this is from synupdater:
Version 5U5T-14G381-ET
APIM Model: KU5T-14G371-GFA
APIM Typ: Navigation
APIM Größe: 64GB
APIM Freier Speicherplatz: 13G
05.10.2023 17:10:54 +00:00

is the jailbreak really necessary? I have my concerns about that. if I have to do it all 3 files? After that I can install the RW data cleaner and the new software?

my rw data cleaner with number PU5T-14G … has the following script file
[SYNCGen3.0_ALL_PRODUCT]
Item1 = RWDataCleaner TOOL - PU5T-14G386-BB_1690840002000.TAR.GZ
Open1= SyncMyRide\PU5T-14G386-BB_1690840002000.TAR.GZ
Options = AutoInstall
maybe the wrong one?

Thanks for the file.
I have my doubts the tool will work for you, since you are on a build that should not have that issue and the tool checks for 2 versions… My doubt is that it may also check for slogs larger than 50MB, but clearly in your case is not doing anything, so I would discard the rwdata cleaner tool for the time being.

KU5T-14G371-GFA is not MY20 as per our hw db, so you could reformat it.
Also, it seems your unit has some kind of mixture for NAV_VOICEs files, maybe a failed update?.

About JB, it’s up to you. All known methods for dealing with the rwdata partition being full are described in the link I sent before, those are the only methods currently known for solving your issue. So if you want to recover the unit you should try every one of them, even JB.

thanks sandman,
I have no idea about the different navigation voices, I’m trying to reform the radio first, I’ll write it here again so that I understand it and please check it again before I use it,
equal to 23188 as seen in the picture or something else? if that doesn’t help jb

Do I need a reformat stick and a stick with the Cynlabs software or is that all on the cynlabs stick?

That looks ok, but you will first need to make enough room in the rwdata partition for that install to run.

I do not want to sound repetitive, but again, go through the tutorial since everything is explained there.

Also, at this point I’m assuming your unit does not have MY20 components based on the information provided, otherwise you could not reformat it.

“but you will first need to make enough room in the rwdata partition for that install to run.”
and how?
I’m sorry, but my English isn’t the best and I don’t understand everything in the forum, so I would be very grateful if you could give me a little instruction. I’m sorry for the trouble
Which sw do I have to downgrade Sync 3 to? 19200?

Please, read the tutorial → APIM Sync Settings Not Saving, VER_ERR08 Errors, Cannot Perform Master Reset or Upgrades/Updates (Solved)
It’s really well explained, I won’t be able to explain it better than it’s there… If you have specific questions or doubts, just ask… But “how” is broad and generic, plus “how” is explained in the uide.

Since the RWdata cleaner tool does not work for you, you will need to attempt the other methods described in the “Historical Solutions” section of the guide.

You are stuck until that happens, since Sync3 won’t be able to process any upgrade USB.
So once you make enough room with those procedures you will be able to either reformat the unit (clean start, which is recommended) or just installing Sync3 3.4.23188 without any other package (this build has de solution for the rwdata partition issue as well).

Softreset 2 times ( if this work) downgrade, than rw data cleaner and than 23188?
If it dont work JB, Right?

Soft reset and downgrade without function, now all I have left is JB right?

Apologies for the delayed response.
Yep, if nothing works, you must try JBing the APIM in order to run the script.
