Sync 3 update gives SIGN_ERR01

Dear,

I keep getting the SIGN_ERR01 error every time the USB stick is plugged in.

I have already tried plugging it in before starting the engine, even when the engine is already running.
The same message every time…
In the meantime, I have tried the official update site, as well as Cyanlabs, but the result remains the same.

Let’s start with what build are you trying to update to?

I tried to update to the latest version here on Synlab.

I also tried the update to version 2.2 via Synlab.
And I also tried version 3.0.23219 from the official Ford website.

All attempts yielded the same result {above-mentioned error message}

Use a good brand name USB formatted as exFAT and make sure nothing is plugged into any USB ports except the update USB.

You cannot jump directly to 3.4 without reformatting the APIM which is a one way trip, you wont be able to revert to 3.0 afterwards.

I’m using a Phillips 64G and I formatted it to exfat.

If I can’t go directly to 3.4 and the Cyanlabs USB to go to 2.2 doesn’t work, what’s the next step to try?

In my menu’s in the truck I can connect to Wifi but I don’t find the “auto-update” feature there. Is that something that comes with an update past 2.0?
