It does not matter if the hub is CP enabled or not… Just try a other hub to see if a simple interrogator log works…
I’ll try it. Right now sync 3 updater is not seeing the new USB so I gotta fix that first.
The seller got back to me about the Vin the apim came out of. Ford says it’s sync 3 and has an update available
For the last time, do not post multiple consecutive messages… There’s an edit button for a reason… It’s not that hard, right?..
I didn’t know there was an edit button. That’s my bad.
The ford update I downloaded for that Vin gets further but does the same thing eventually
I’ll try the other hubs when I get home. I don’t have them with me
At this point, your main goal should be to run a simple interrogator log…
That will validate if the APIM can in fact process stuff as it should…
I’ll try to get a different USB then and try that. The program won’t recognize the one I just got to make the interrogator
Does Windows recognize it? What did you buy?.
Close Syn3Updater, connect the USB and verify windows recognize it… Then open Syn3Updater as administrator…
That didn’t work. I got another drive and its working with the software now. Sync still wont update or load the interrogator but neither will my other APIM that’s on 3.4 already with the same model number. I took them both apart and they look the same and have the same chips with the exception of the storage. Which is to be expected as one is nav and the other isn’t.
This may be a stupid question, but are you sure the USB hub is properly connected to the APIM?. If so, try a different hub…
Yes. It’s connected properly and I’ve tried three hubs. Still isn’t working. Same error.
If you connect a pendrive with music, can you play from it?.
