Hey there, I upgraded my 2015 F150 w/ Sync 1 and the 4" screen to a 8" Sync 3 system from a 2016. Most things are working fine but there are 2 issues I cannot figure out
The main one is when a phone call comes in the volume goes down, but when I answer the call the volume goes back up instead of staying muted. I have to manually turn the volume down to hear the call. This happens whether I answer the phone with Sync, or with my handset.
The other issue is that when I turn the volume up using the steering wheel controls, the volume does get louder, but the “volume level” icon stays reading “0”.
Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Thanks.
