Sync3 Incorrect component installed

Hello,
I have Escape 2021 from USA. I tried, with all possible consequences, to change the region and install latest update with maps.
My error was that it used auto format, and now the screen is black and Forscan shows Incorrect Component installed error. Is there any way to fix it? Also, I bought second APIM, but with different ending- mine was -AC, this was -AB. Seller told me that it is working, but when I connected it, it shows No initialization error. Maybe anyone able to help?

If you reformatted the 2021 APIM then it is bricked.
Do Not use the reformat tools on this vehicle.

We need to know the full part numbers and need the logs to help…

The part number is M1PT-18K810-AC. Second one was with the ending AB

That is the ACM. Need APIM. You can get the info from FORScan in the Configuration tab next to the log screen.

Your vehicle is a 2016 Ford Escape according to the profile.
The APIM is likely original to the vehicle, GB5T-14G371-BFC. This is a NON_NAV APIM. You cannot put maps on it. If you have a black screen it is because it cannot boot properly or is out of storage or memory. The only way to repair this is to jailbreak the unit and delete the maps with the FMods tools, if that even works due to the lack of storage. Otherwise it is likely the unit cannot be repaired.
The APIM firmware is old…

The unit you show in the pictures is NOT the APIM, it is the ACM, CJ5T-19C107-HB.
It has nothing to do with this.

Not recommended. The firmware will be too old for your vehicle. You would be able to use a K-series, which the part number will begin with K.

Never a good idea to put a pre 2020 APIM on a 2020+ vehicle. The calibrations changed considerably for the 2020+ APIMS.
