Hi, i have a ford focus 2017 with sync3 version 3.0.20204 with navigation maps EU 4 15
my nav is very slow and can’t seem to upload a destination. sometime it picks where i am but most the the map looks like i’m of road and a GPS SIGNAL comes up in a red circle with a line through it.
Not sure what to do. everything else works but slow.
I have checked the model number on this site and it says not MY20 not sure what this means. I’m not very technical with these sort things. Can anyone tell if i can up date maps to see if that fixes my issue. I know how to download but don’t know which version. Thanks Paul

Red circle means that the APIM has lost connection to the GPS receiver.
So either loose cable, bad cable, bad GPS or a combination of any or all of them.
If you check with ForScan you should see DTC on the APIM for a GPS signal lost.

What’s your end goal?, just updating maps or going to 3.4?
