Hello. I’ve retro fitted SYNC 3 and programmed to my car. I’ve activated Fan/Temp pop ups when you change heating/fan settings. I’ve activated that on Top Bar I can see temperature, and here I’ve got the problem. When I turn right (drivers) knob on control module, temperature on HVAC screen is changing on right side, but on SYNC screen is changing on left side and pop window saying Passanger. When I turn left knob on control module, temperature on HVAC is changing on left side, but on SYNC screen is changing on right side and pop window saying Driver. I can’t figure out how to change it so the temperature is changing the same as on control module screen.

If I remember correctly, that’s a known bug.
If the unit is jailbroken, I think there’s a mod for fixing that.

OK, so how to jailbreak and where I can find this mode to check if will fix my problem.

We do not support JB, but you can find information on their site, FMODS.

Also, I believe Naviupgrade made a video some time ago, so check his YT channel.

If I remember correctly there’s a left/right set of pins on the FCIM that may have to be flipped. Most of the 3rd party kit harnesses have this done already if you did a 4" to 8" upgrade.

It was SYNC 2 to SYNC 3 upgrade, so no aftermarket harnesses was involved.

Go out and read the forums for your vehicle model/year, they should have the info about which pins to flip.

Will look into that, if not I’ll deactivate the temperature on the SYNC 3 top bar. Instead of looking for pins to swap.

The FCIM you mean the main plug that goes to APIM this where pins need swapping :thinking:

Don’t flip pins, its a software issue, the SYNC 3 factory wouldn’t have climate control even enabled on the SYNC OS for this exact reason

I had a Focus Mk3 before i changed to my Fiesta Mk8.

Like @SaNdMaN said i believe there is a tweak if jailbroken
